We went out and cut down our Christmas tree today. Things to know for next year.....
1. Choose a tree farm not on the side of a mountain! (seems like that would be a given...but we are suckers for punishment!) But on the positive it was a beautiful view at the top!:)
2. There is a time (2 weeks ago) to tag a tree for your family...(aka all the good ones have been taken!) they have red ribbons on them (also everyone know this...but us!)
3. The trees left for the scavengers (Us!) have orange ribbons...they are obscenely tall, wide or patchy... and most of them are at the VERY top of the hill....
4. Memories! Memories!
5. Never expect all children (and husband)to smile for the cutting down the tree photo! So close this time!!
PS the tree looks great in the house! A little wide and big but there is nothing wrong with that!

haha, and don't give your 7 year old the saw, as she may cut your 1 year old's head off...haha! Love it!
