We spent one of our last days finally showing Grandma some of the sights, aka letting her out of the house! We went to Galveston beach-home of the Christmas card and we had a great day! The beach was foggy but it was warm enough for Avery to be in her bathing suit and take a dip. They spent the afternoon flying kites and building sand castles. The only downfalls-all the sand in the van (it drove Steve crazy) and the unsightly farmer tans we all sported on Sunday....I guess you can get a burn through haze! Who knew?
