We went out last night to the town of Oberusel (next town over from ours, Niederusel!) and trick or treated with the kids on their walking street. We had a great time, the shops were open and gave the kids candy (some of them were party poopers and didn't give any candy). They have a really true Halloween here, most of the kids and adults were SCARY. There was a lot of scary outfits and a few people walking around with an eye hanging out or blood running down their face. Avery is not too fond of the scary men! But we had a great time, the chubby spider and froggy were a hit. It was a test run for Tuesday's whole day of parties!
